Welcome
Welcome to the official Eaton Community Schools Athletic Hall of Fame (ECSAHOF) website. The purpose of the Eaton Community Schools Athletic Hall of Fame is to select and honor athletes, coaches and teams who have made significant contributions in the field of athletics at both Dixon-Israel and Eaton High Schools. As a result of the formation of ECSAHOF, the Eaton Community Schools district will now have many exciting opportunities to celebrate those individuals and teams who have made valuable contributions to Eaton Community Schools throughout the years.
THE MISSION of Eaton Community Schools Athletic Hall of Fame committee will use the bylaws in place to recognize the most outstanding athletes, coaches and teams who have performed at the varsity level for Eaton High School or Dixon-Israel High School. Any high schools that consolidate to form Eaton High School or Dixon-Israel High School will also be part of the consideration process.
OUR GOALS: It is the deisre of the committee to maintain historical accuracy and induct the most outstanding athletes, teams and coaches into the ECSAHOF. So, applications are strongly encouraged. Without an application, talented individuals, teams and/or coaches cannot be considered.
The inaugural class of 2012 consist of a talented group of one coach, five individuals, and six teams which will be inducted in a special inductee ceremony on December 29, 2012 @ 4:00 p.m. in the Eaton High School Cafe'. Each inductee will have a plaque permanently displayed on the wall in the Eaton High School athletic wing hallway (gym area) to pay tribute to them and all future ECSHOF members.
The Eaton Community Schools Athletic Hall of Fame would not have been possible without the time, effort, commitment and financial support of the community. We thank you for your continued support, financial and otherwise, because all contributions are critical in maintaining the quality of the ECSHOF program for years to come.
Please enjoy your visit to the Eaton Community Schools Athletic Hall of Fame website and we encourage you to visit the site as often as you can. In addition to learning about those who have contributed greatly to Eaton Community Schools rich athletic history, you will find information about the nomination process. We welcome your suggestions, pictures, stories and ideas.
Sincerely,
Chairman ECSAHOF
